The Whispering Meadows board is made up of 5 members, their bios are visible below:
Jakub Biernacki is President of the board as of 2014. Has been a resident of the community since May 2009. With an IT, Project Management & Consulting background, he hopes to bring his knowledge and experience to help facilitate easier access to information for the community. Promotion of active use of our website, social media and print communication.
Darshit Bakhai is Vice President and resident since Spring of 2018. Enjoy walks and exploring communities around us. Both me and my wife are social workers and have been involved in various roles for over a decade in helping individuals and families. The importance of the caring and treating the whole person psychosocially and empowering them is significant along with diversity, equity and inclusion. Extending help to neighbours and equally supporting all beings carries value to us.
Problem solving, providing empathy and compassionate support is way to build community and connections.
Collette Howard is Treasurer and has been a resident of Whispering Meadows since 2001. Loves our community and has felt for the longest time that she needed to do more than sit on the side lines. Coming from a criminal justice and administrative background. Hopes to serve in a capacity of the highest stands as a board member.
Lilia Robins is Secretary and has been a resident of Whispering Meadows since the end of 2020 and was raised in Washtenaw County. She hopes that her administrative, creative, and psychological background will help build up the community’s communication and connection.
Steve Dougherty has been a resident of Whispering Meadows since 2022. He is a software engineer and enjoys smart home projects. His motivations include minimizing any unwelcome surprises the HOA creates, and ensuring its communications are clear.
